Resurrection

The family christening robe is symbolic in rites of passage for the child being christened and the parents and grandparents. It holds memories which go back generations. A new baby wearing the robe will revive old memories to be passed on in the telling of stories. Gradually the originator of these stories will be lost as the older generations die and only the memory of the stories being told will be left. It is these fragments of memories that are left hanging.
